Provenance: From the studio collection of an interior designer for Le Bon Marché department store, dating from the 1920s-1930s. A watercolor and gouache design over pencil sketches for bedroom/office furniture and its decoration, dating from 1925-1930, by Jacques TISSEYRE. A second sketch, in black pencil and colored pencils. From a collection of furniture and interior design projects for apartments, houses, offices, and shops, circa 1920-1940, executed in gouache by this artist-decorator who worked for the Bon Marché Art Studio and the Atelier Pomone under the direction of René Prou, among others. In the last photo, a 1928 advertising poster made of thick cardboard (not for sale, at least not at the moment). Monogrammed JT in the lower right corner, one dated 22. Dimensions: 21 cm x 31.5 cm and 23 cm x 28.5 cm. I also have numerous pencil drawings of interior design projects by the same artist; the moving work of many years of activity!
