Spectacular glazed earthenware bowl on a pedestal with two large handles in raised bubbled and brown and white marbled enamels. This raised enamel gives the piece a bubbling lava appearance characteristic of the productions of the 1950s / 1970s made in Vallauris, which became the famous city of artistic ceramics that we know from the beginning of the 20th century. It is stamped with the Vallauris AM and Marius Giuge stamp on the edge of the foot. Dimensions: Length: 47 cm (including handles) Width: 36.5 cm Height: 22 cm at the top of the handles Weight: 4.3 kg This imposing creation by this great Vallaurian ceramist from the 1950s is in good condition.
