The design unfolds vertically in a large, naturalistic floral motif rendered in polychrome. The flowers, in shades of pink, coral, cream, pale blue, and green, are executed in silk thread using various embroidery techniques (stretch stitch, stem stitch, and low-relief highlights), creating beautiful depth and delicate modeling. The side borders feature a lighter floral pattern, elegantly structuring the whole. The panel is lined with silk velvet.
