"Portrait Of A Lady Of Quality, 17th Century"
Oval portrait of a high-society lady during the reign of Louis XIV. Depicted in three-quarter view, she wears a black silk dress and a large, translucent gauze fichu. Her hairstyle is in curls typical of the mid-17th century. The frame was changed in the 19th century.
