Louis XV Style Wardrobe With A Gendarme's Hat In Cherry Wood
A finely carved and molded wardrobe in solid cherry wood, dating from the late 18th century. This "gendarme's hat" style model is crafted with great finesse. The carved decorations depict flowers and baskets. The front panels are mounted with flat bands. The front uprights are rounded, with vertical supports, and terminate in shells. The doors are secured with large hinges with laces; the keyholes and locks are of high quality. The backs are oak, the interior is glazed, and it is equipped with a hanging space under the first shelf. H 235 cm D 54 cm W 140 cm (cornice level)
