An elegant oil on canvas depicting a romantic scene from the 19th century. It shows a gentleman in a dark velvet suit climbing a wall to steal a kiss from a young woman richly dressed in a purple lace gown and wearing a gold pendant necklace. She is standing behind a wooden barrier. In good overall condition, with a slight dent on the left side of the dress. Dimensions: 46 x 38 cm
