A lovely pair of original lithographs framed under glass, circa 1860. The titled, signed, and detailed series depicts hanging fishing trophies of various species. The engraving is of high quality, giving the impression of a drawing. In good overall condition, there are some minor raised spots on the paper (which can be removed). Image size: 33 x 50 cm. Elisa Honorine Pitet Champin (1807-1871), a French artist specializing in lithographs of still lifes, fruits, flowers, and fish, notably collaborated with the Parisian seed merchant Vilmorin et Andrieux, for whom she lithographed a series of bouquets.
