A Louis XVI style mahogany and mahogany veneer display cabinet, late 19th century. The top is made of red Pyrenees marble surrounded by an openwork gilt brass gallery. It opens with a glazed front door. The three interior shelves and the back are lined with newly reupholstered carmine velvet. The side panels are glazed. The uprights are fluted and reeded, inlaid with gilt brass. The original glass panes, lock, and key are all in working order. Finished with French polish. In very good condition.
