"Master's Chest Of Drawers, Directoire Period, Late 18th Century"
A master's chest of drawers in solid walnut and thick walnut veneer, dating from the late 18th century, Directoire period. It opens with three drawers with keyholes and gilt bronze handles. The locks are in working order. The top features refined marquetry, centered on a compass rose, framed by lemonwood and rosewood fillets and a frieze. The sides and drawers are decorated with lemonwood fillets in marquetry. Legs finished with bronze sabots. French polish finish. Very good condition
