The work depicts the Castello di Montechiarugolo (Parma), represented on elevated ground, with its masonry walls and crenellated towers. In the foreground there is a strip of land with vegetation, while the slope is structured by trees and clusters of foliage. The sky, treated with light washes, occupies the upper part of the composition.
Provenance: Melanotte Collection, Turin.
Condition: good.
The work is sold with its frame.
