Ortwin Klipp – Liquids 231, Speicherstadt, Hamburg, Square Photograph, Limited Edition 21st C
Artist: Ortwin Klipp
Square photograph from Ortwin Klipp's renowned "Liquids" series, a body of work the artist has been developing continuously since 1999. In this long-term project, surfaces of pure water are photographed, sometimes in close-up, and their locations are identified. Each location appears highly individual, with its own unique qualities of water and light, and possesses its own recognizable character. LIQUIDS 231 was created in Hamburg's historic Speicherstadt district and is characterized by its distinctive atmosphere, the clarity of its composition, and the subtle interplay between structure and reflection. The photograph is presented behind glass in a high-quality studio frame. Image size: 40 × 40 cm. Ortwin Klipp (born 1977) is a German graphic designer and artist.
