carved wooden sculpture painted in white tempera, embellished with gilded
panels in pure gold leaf. The sculpture depicts an eagle, perched on a turned
base, with outstretched wings and its muzzle turned three-quarters. This is a
unique object, exuding great taste and refinement, capable of adding a touch of
class and antiquity to any setting. Tuscan craftsmanship from the Neoclassical
period, around the end of the 18th century.
