Pair Of Louis XVI Candelabra
These candelabras are of the same model as those appearing in the Aubert sale of March 2, 1786 and attributed to the sculptor Claude Michel dit Clodion (1738-1814) for the satyr, and to Louis Felix de la Rue (1730-1777) for the little girl. Pair of Louis XVI period candelabra in chased, patinated and gilded bronze, white marble, with two sconces in the shape of a corolla of grained foliage, one supported by a satyr, the other by a young girl seated on a rock , resting on a circular base.
