Exceptional and rare pair of double candlesticks in polychrome Sèvres porcelain, gilt bronze and Sèvres biscuit decorated with cupids with horns of plenty. Signed and stamped Manufacture de Sèvres. Dimensions: Height: 38.5 cm. Condition of these pair of candlesticks are in excellent condition. (small firing defect) A series of this set was commissioned by Empress Eugénie who, out of great passion for the 18th century, was at the origin of numerous reissues of Sèvres biscuits.
