"Val Pair Of Art Deco Vases Daum Verrerie d'Art Lorrain Circa 1925-1930"
Spectacular pair of acid-etched cameo vases decorated with floral and leaf motifs in purple enamel, typical of the Art Deco style. They stand out in relief against a background also acid-etched and patinated with orange enamel. Each bears the cameo and enamel signature "VAL". According to several reliable sources, these vases were produced by the Verrerie d'Art Lorrain / Verrerie de Belle Etoile in Croismare near Lunéville, established on December 15, 1925, by Antonin Daum. Dimensions: Height: 41 cm; Diameter at widest point: 22 cm; Total weight: 4.25 kg. Very good condition. Minor manufacturing flaw on one leaf of one vase (see the last photo).
