Artist: Georges Lavagne
Georges Lavagne (1902-1995) entered the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs and chose to work in advertising and decoration. An excellent draftsman, he became a sought-after poster artist. After the Second World War, he returned to Roussillon and promoted the region's thermal baths and tourism. He drew for the local magazine Reflets du Roussillon (1954-1971). He was also a painter. This illustrator worked for many years with Yves Hoffmann: their collaboration began with the creation of Reflets du Roussillon. Framed: H35cm W43.5cm; Unframed: H25cm W34cm
