Antique stamped metal advertising sign A. Taulois – Nets – Nantes – Bté SGDG.A piece linked to the maritime history of Nantes, a major fishing and trading port. This fishing net manufacturer's sign, probably dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, bears the inscription "Breveté SGDG" (abbreviation of "Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement" – Patented Without Government Guarantee), characteristic of items patented before 1968.
