Jasmine cup, scroll handle with a dark nankeen "tiger" pattern on the cup, and geometric friezes. The center of the saucer is monogrammed. The Dagoty factory. Founded by Pierre-Louis Dagoty and his brothers in 1798, this is a perfect example of the golden age of hard-paste porcelain in Paris. Their work is recognizable by the use of "thick gold" and sumptuous painted decorations, often combined with areas left unpainted.
