A beautiful and generously sized 19th-century Japanese Imari cachepot resting on three feet with a blue-patterned rim and a flowing circumference reminiscent of a garden pot encircled in blue with friezes. The rim is richly ornamented with motifs typical of this production, characterized by fine and colorful decoration. A truly uncommon piece (large cachepots are rare). A unique decorative piece of excellent quality, sturdy despite its use (minor, barely perceptible hairlines), very pleasing for a sophisticated decor with a touch of Asian exoticism... A truly beautiful and, moreover, useful piece.
