French Roulette, A Casino Or Counter Ball Game In Walnut And Marquetry - Circa 1900
Extremely Rare Casino or Counter Ball Game - Early 20th Century. Unlike roulette, the ball game uses a board with fixed numbers and painted alcoves (blue, red, and yellow) designed to hold the ball. It features a 40x40 cm square frame in solid wood with a deep, warm patina and a central aluminum disc. The superb numbering from 1 to 9 is repeated and painted in an antique typeface typical of early 20th-century games of chance. Complete with its original boxwood ball. The rotating mechanism is functional, with signs of use. A unique piece. Free shipping within France and Corsica.
