Knight's Medal of the Legion of Honour, First Empire, 3rd type. Solid silver with gold centers. Worn hallmark of a fasces on the ring. Original ribbon with a crowned silver eagle attached by two clasps. Hypothesis: it was awarded to a soldier of the Old Guard. Signs of wear, rubbing wear at the top of the eagle, and small losses to the blue enamel. Very good condition.
