Jean-Jacques Bassat was a 20th-century French sculptor, primarily active from the 1970s onwards. Based in Paris, he quickly achieved recognition thanks to iconic works such as the "Water Pourers," sculptures in resin and fiberglass. These creations, often monumental, are interpreted as a denunciation of mass media and consumer society. His work has left its mark on contemporary French sculpture.
