The Superbe was a 74-gun French warship, built in Brest between 1782 and 1784 according to the plans of naval engineer Jacques Noël Sané. This type of vessel, belonging to the Téméraire class, represented the heart of French maritime power at the end of the 18th century. 56 meters long with a displacement of over 5,000 tons, it carried a crew of 705 men and was armed with 28 36-pounder cannons, 30 24-pounders, 16 8-pounders, and 4 carronades. The Superbe served in the naval fleet of Admiral Villaret de Joyeuse before sinking in 1795. This model has been meticulously crafted and is complete.
