Beautiful 18th-century Aubusson tapestry. The design depicts a garden with a fountain and rockery. In the foreground, a wading bird is surrounded by lush vegetation, while in the background, a bird flutters about. The central figure is framed by a garland of interlacing acanthus leaves surrounding a string of flowers. It is in good overall condition, with only a few moth holes (see photos). It is mounted on a wooden frame.
