This pair of wrought iron frames is characteristic of the Neo-Gothic style. This architectural and decorative movement, inspired by medieval Gothic art, emerged during the Restauration period and remained highly popular until the early 20th century.
Here, the frames feature an imposing size (118 cm in height). They are adorned with pointed arches, pinnacles, and intricate openwork patterns that evoke the architecture of medieval cathedrals. The raised details, such as stylized foliage and traces of gilding, highlight the craftsmanship and quality of the ironwork.
