"Directoire Gilt Bronze Bouillotte Lamp"
A two-light bouillotte lamp in finely chased and gilded bronze. It has a round, concave base, and a patinated steel stem supporting the light arms and lampshade. The central shaft is decorated with chased, open, and flared flowers. It is wired (without a cable) and comes with its two original keys. The lampshade is made of lacquered sheet metal (likely a later addition). Directoire period - circa 1800. Height: 60 cm / Width: 37 cm / Depth: 25 cm / Base: Diameter 18.5 cm
