Pair of Rover armchairs, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Asko, Finland, circa 1968. The stained ash plywood frame is assembled like a puzzle. The seat, backrest, and armrests are a single piece, upholstered in leather. W 80 cm x D 80 cm x H 70 cm. Seat height 35 cm. Wear on the leather (particularly on one armrest) has been stabilized by an internal glued patch; it is stable and will not worsen.
