"Tournon Linen Bodice, Raoul Dufy For Jacques Heim - France Circa 1940"
Circa 1940, France. A bodice by Maison Jacques Heim in Tournon canvas, designed by Raoul Dufy for the Bianchini-Ferié factory and dating from the 1940s. It features balloon sleeves, a turned-down collar, and fastens at the front with five similarly covered buttons (some rust oxidation on the buttons). This black print on white cotton canvas, plain weave, is an original design by Raoul Dufy for furnishings, entitled "Les Fruits" (The Fruits), among the artist's productions for Paul Poiret around 1920. Bearing Jacques Heim's initials (Heim Furs Paris), this bodice is clean and free of stains. No flaws. Wear it or collect it! Beautiful condition of color and preservation. Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 38. Shoulders 35 cm, sleeves 24 cm, length 48 cm, chest 93 cm, waist 71 cm.
