A fan signed by the Bach firm in Madrid. The mount is made of engraved mother-of-pearl, gilt and silvered. The reverse features a double leaf of leather and paper, painted in gouache with a scene of people gathered around a table in a garden watching a woman dance. Signed on the reverse: Bach Madrid. It measures 10,63 inches closed and 20,47 inches in diameter when open. It is in perfect condition. Spain, circa 1895.
