Pierre-Nicolas Tourgueneff (1853–1912) was a French sculptor and painter, specializing in animal representation (he is considered an "animal artist").
Born in Paris to a family originally from Russia, he was a student of the renowned animal sculptor Emmanuel Frémiet.
Tourgueneff is best known for his sculptures of horses and dogs, as well as equestrian figures often representing military figures of his time or of the First Empire.
He exhibited regularly at the Salon from 1880 onwards and was made a Knight of the Legion of Honour. Several of his works were cast by the famous Susse Foundry in Paris. He died in Paris on March 21, 1912.
