Eugenia Spielmann was born in 1904 in Kolozsvar (Kingdom of Hungary, Austria-Hungary) and died in the south of France in 1977. With her husband, Oscar Spielmann (1901-1974), she settled in Algiers (French Algeria) in the early 1930s. The couple left Algeria in 1962 and settled in Toulon (Var).
