– A solid silver pocket watch, chased and guilloché, the case decorated with green gold-plated foliage, a garland of flowers and a rose gold-plated flower basket suspended from a Louis XVI knot, scrolls, and a rose gold-plated blank escutcheon. – French 800/1000 hallmark, used in France from 1834 to 1984, present on the pendant head, partially effaced bail and dust cover, case, rim of the pocket watch case, and the hallmark of the Besançon Precious Metals Assay Office in the Doubs department (25). – A lozenge-shaped maker's mark on the case, to be identified as a rooster and the letters GG on either side of the rooster inside the partially effaced lozenge. – Number 25574 engraved in relief on the dust cover and case. 7 engraved in relief on the dust cover, smooth octagonal case edge and guilloché and chased bezel, polished steel crown winder, beveled and slightly domed mineral crystal. – White enamel dial, Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes painted in black and Arabic numerals for the 24 hours painted in red, gold-colored dot markers for the hours and minutes, Louis XV style hands in gilt metal. – Small seconds dial at six o'clock, Arabic numerals for the seconds, railway track markers painted in black, gilt metal seconds hand. – Gilt brass movement set with rubies with cylinder escapement, blued steel screws, ratchet wheel, crown wheel, polished steel advance and retard regulator located above the balance wheel. – Winding via the pendant and setting the time by pressing the small push-button located to the left of the pendant head while simultaneously turning the winding crown clockwise.– Gilt brass movement signed C.
