In its red morocco leather case, a CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE medal engraved by F. MONTAGNY. Made of solid silver.
Dated 1890 on the edge. 19th century.
The medal is engraved "argent" (silver) on the edge and bears the commemorative inscription: 'LOUIS BARTELINO UNITED TO JEANNE GANCEL ON AUGUST 23, 1890 IN PARIS'.
On the obverse, a couple in classical style.
Engraved signature at the base: MONTAGNY F.
The engraving is in pronounced relief.
On the reverse, the initials of the bride and groom in italic calligraphy, encircled by a garland of flowers (roses and laurels).
The red morocco leather case is included.
