Original riveted iron fragment from the Eiffel Tower, 1889. Stamped in relief: "Grands travaux Tour Eiffel, 1981-1983" and "Fer d'origine" (Original Iron) on a fine metal and wood base with a commemorative medal from the 1889 Universal Exhibition, a coin from 1889, and another coin from 1989 commemorating the centenary. Dimensions: 15 x 39 x 18 cm. Provenance: This fragment comes from the Eiffel Tower weight reduction campaign organized from 1981 to 1983, carried out by the Société Nouvelle d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (New Eiffel Tower Operating Company).
