A scalloped fireplace plaque with richly sculpted decoration, from the 19th century, a re-edition of a plaque dating from the end of the 17th century or the first quarter of the 18th century, bearing the arms of Marie de la Tourette de Ginestous de Saint-Cierge, 1660-1725, daughter of Gabriel, Antoine de la Tourette de Ginestous(x) de Saint-Cierge, ?-1669, camp master of a cavalry regiment married in 1655 to Madeleine d'Hostun de la Baume, Lady of La Goudumière (La Côte-Saint-André en Viennois) and of La Forteresse, 1605-1674. Married in 1681 to Claude-Ferdinand de Brun, 1649-1714, Baron de Brun, Marquis de la Roche in the County of Burgundy in 1694, Honorary Chancellor of the Parliament of Besançon. Coat of arms: 1st and 4th, Or, a lion rampant Gules, langued and armed Sable, which is Ginestoux de Saint-Cièrge; 2nd and 3rd, Gules, a cross engrailed Or, which is Hostun or Autun (branch of Dauphiné).
