"Small Polyorama Of Paris "
A device for viewing panoptic views. Made by Pierre Henri Armand Lefort (33, rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin). He is listed at this address during the 1855 Imperial International Exhibition: "His amusing optics were particularly recognized: polyoramas, stereoscopes, and dioramas with diorama cameras." Our polyorama is a small model accompanied by five polychrome day and night views (10 x 14.5 cm). Circa 1850. The views are in good condition; minor tears and scratches, the subjects are exclusively Parisian.
