Large Four-door Wardrobe

Important four-door wardrobe in solid walnut, 18th century, Liguria.

The front is punctuated by panels shaped with a mixtilinear profile, typical of the late Baroque taste, finely molded and framed by a solid and balanced architectural structure. The doors, equipped with original brass lock and hardware, open to reveal a spacious interior.

The interior has removable shelves, typical of sacristy furniture, and two drawers in the lower part. The sides, also paneled, have two doors with internal shelves.

The strongly projecting cymatium, with a broken profile and wavy mouldings, gives impetus and monumentality to the whole, while the base has very imposing bracket feet.
