Carved and polychrome wooden shelf, Central Italy, 18th century.Elegant wall shelf carved in solid wood, finely carved and decorated with vegetal elements, scrolls and heraldic motifs. The structure stands out for its imposing volute shape, typical of Baroque aesthetics, and for the original polychromy in shades of white, vermilion red and gold leaf gilding.
In the center stands a relief medallion with an inscribed four-leaf clover motif, surrounded by acanthus leaves and golden curls, an element that gives the object a strong decorative and symbolic value.
