Its openwork frieze is adorned with volutes, palmettes, and flowers.
It rests on four openwork double-scroll feet, decorated with acanthus leaves and flowers, joined by two cartouches, and in its center, a large, richly ornamented finial on the front.
The marble top has a molded border and is veined in shades of pink and light mauve. A very fine and elaborate piece of 19th-century French craftsmanship.
