A substantial rectangular mirror in carved and gilded wood, surmounted by an openwork pediment richly decorated with knotted ribbons, foliage, and rosettes. The upper decoration is organized around a central circular medallion, framed by stylized leaves, and topped by a foliate motif forming a finial. The frame is carved with floral motifs and pleated ribbons, characteristic of the decorative vocabulary of the Louis XVI period. The side panels incorporate mirrored glazing bars, while the main mirror is mercury glass, exhibiting natural age-related wear and tear.
