Advertising poster, J. Leña Rendon y Cia., Wine and Cognac Exporters, Jerez de la Frontera. Cardboard. First half of the 20th century. It has some faults.
The photograph of the woman is very similar to those used on postcards issued by the Universal Postal Union, an organization founded in 1874 (under this name in 1878). J. Leña Rendón & Cia. was founded in 1885 and was known at the time for its Gayarre cognac, among other specialties. It is mentioned in the Revue des caves de Jerez by R. Mena y Sobrino (Jerez, Litografía Jerezana Vicario, 1900).
