Murano - Pair Of Large Amber And Brass Murano Glass Lamps - Italy, 1980s
A rare and elegant pair of Italian table lamps combining spectacular 1980s Murano glasswork with an architectural brass structure.
Each lamp consists of a polished brass cubic base topped with four thick, amber-tinted Murano glass panels, cut and polished with crisp edges. This glass, typical of Murano production from the 1970s and 80s, offers remarkable depth of light when the lamp is lit, diffusing a warm glow.
The rectangular lampshades, also from Italy, are covered in black fabric and lined internally with a gold coating, creating a sophisticated contrast and a beautiful light reflection when illuminated.
Together, they form a striking and decorative duo, typical of high-end Italian design from the 1980s.
Newly rewired.
Italy, 20th century.
