A beautiful pair of large church candlesticks, altar ornaments, in gilt bronze, French work from the 19th century in the Gothic style. The metal has an antique patina, cylindrical shafts decorated with floral motifs, openwork cups with quatrefoils surmounted by a point, and openwork tripod bases in the same style. A beautiful decorative set, with presence and elegance, perfect for interior display. Total height 49-50 cm, 42 cm without the spikes, width 15 cm, diameter of the cups 12 cm. Very good overall condition, some signs of wear and oxidation, flaws consistent with age, harmonious patina. Approximately 1 kg each, lightweight as they are hollow.
