1960s Wooden And Silver-plated Metal Salmon Serving Tray

Superb, very large serving platter for salmon/fish, seafood, etc. Vintage 1960s. The head and tail are made of highly detailed cast silver-plated metal with lovely reliefs, while the body is made of dark wood, creating a very chic combination of colors and textures. A pure mid-century style, ideal for festive buffets! 88cm total length, platter 49cm on its own, 19cm maximum platter width, 7cm minimum width at the tail. Very good overall condition, minor wear to the metal, particularly at the head, some tarnishing, relatively inconspicuous and quite discreet, a few light scratches on the platter, nothing serious. A hanging system on the back allows for wall mounting; it would also make a superb decorative piece in a vintage and chic kitchen. Weighs between 2 and 3kg.
