Bronze Plaque "La paix" signed Bernard Jobin abstract decor of doves

Creation of the French artist Bernard Jobin (1945-2025) from Besançon, this plaque symbolizes peace, surrounded at its four corners by flying doves, starting in each corner, and at its center an illumination, surrounded by wheat ears and other elements of nature. The enigma of this plaque lies in the female face from profile to bottom of the plate.
Draughtsman, lithographer, sculptor, Bernard Jobin continued to create in his house-workshop in Arc-et-Senans. In his workshop, he practiced copper sculpture with cutting sheets of metal, hammering, shaping, welding. He greatly contributed in his career to emancipating the figure of the woman in his sculptures.
Many of his works are in private collections & public exhibitions (galleries & expo in Paris, Besançon, Bayonville). Bernard Jobin has also produced more than thirty monumental works in urban settings for cities, such as Besançon, La Marjorie in Lons-le-Saunier. Also natural environments such as forests & parks.
