"A Flat Mahogany Desk."
A mahogany flat desk resting on tapered legs, opening to reveal four drawers (one double) and two side pull-out slides. Visible from all sides, it dates from the first half of the 19th century, around 1830-1850. Its green leather, in good condition and decorated with small tools, nevertheless shows slight variations in color due to lighting (see photos). It is of fine quality craftsmanship. Height under the stretcher: 63 cm
