A beautiful painting depicting the "Last Supper" attributed to a talented Venetian painter, active in the workshop of Francesco Bassano and closely linked to the cultural and artistic movement that followed the most modern Venetian painting, influenced by Tintoretto and Jacopo Bassano. This style was more tenebrist than its predecessors, Titian, but in which color takes center stage and is used as a means of illuminating the scene.

The painting has recently been cleaned, creating a very pleasing overall effect. The painting is mounted on an antique, contemporary frame, which retains its original lacquer.
