American art glass vase, signed and dated Stuart Albertman, 1985, signature engraved under the base. Beautiful low form with a wide body and inward-curving neck, made of thick and relatively heavy blown glass. Very regular pulled feather decoration on a purple background with metallic iridescence and gold and rainbow reflections, characteristic of American studio glass from the 1980s. A decorative collector's piece with a striking presence.
