"Pair Of Louis XVI Cassolettes With Eagle Heads"
A fine pair of cassolettes forming candlesticks, in white Carrara marble and chased and gilded bronze, decorated with pine cones, eagle heads holding chains and tassels, standing on three feet ending in acanthus leaves and spiral scrolls, joined on a trefoil base supported by three small disc feet (minor damage to the edges of the stoppers, one stopper has been restored).
Louis XVI style, 19th century.
