"Important Pair Of Vases In Onyx And Bronze, Louis XVI Style - 2nd Part Nineteenth"
Elegant Pair of Louis XVI Style Vases, in Ovoid Onyx, embellished with Bronze attributes. In the upper part, the neck is highlighted by the addition of gadrooned bronze, while on each side, handles ending in acanthus leaves are connected on the front by garlands of foliage of the same alloy. They rest on a fluted pedestal, overhanging a finely chiselled collar of scallops. The set rests on a square section base with small cut sides, in beautifully crafted and openwork bronze. This pair of bewitching onyx and sparkling bronze vases will undoubtedly enhance the room in which you decide to place it.
